Good morning, Lord

Verse of the Day:  1 Chronicles 29:11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head over all.

Memory of the month:  Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be  satisfied.

Today's reading:  JOB 28-29 ACTS 13:1-25

Freedom To Be

Personal freedom to be and do whatever we want-is that what life is really about? This nation has spent two and half centuries attempting to prove that freedom is in following and be a part of a democratic form of government. How is that going?

I am thankful for our country and for my freedoms afforded me by our constitution. I am thankful for all the lives given and being given so we can maintain our way of life. It is a great country.

The never-ending war between good an evil threatens not just our country, but the world as it has since the garden. This will never change.

It is in the individual heart where freedom either lives or dies. If a person embraces self freedom in sin away from God, that soul is destined for death-not a popular message today but still God's truth.

If we embrace life in Christ Jesus, we can-we may-- live in His freedom. There is freedom in no other name. Can we define that freedom?

There is freedom in knowing God's law.

Psalm 119:45 I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your teachings.

We have the freedom to make a choice to stand strong.

Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery(sin).

We are free to receive freedom from being a prisoner of sin.

Galatians 3:22 But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.

Freedom from sin in Christ leads to holiness and eternal life.

Romans 6:22 But now that you have been set free from sin and become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

There is freedom in obedience. Freedom is loving.

Galatians 5:13-14 You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

Freedom is serving.

1 Peter 2:16 Live as free men, but do not use your freedom to cover-up for evil; live as servants of God.

Freedom is approaching God-going directly into His presence in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 3:12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.

Freedom can not be regulated by men or women.

Freedom cannot be legislated by men or women.

Freedom cannot be won by men or women.

Freedom can only be given by God in Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Learn freedom from Christ.

Live Freedom in Christ.

Ephesians 5:14 ►This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Freedom is the light in Christ.

...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven,

Forgive me for trusting government for my freedom. Lord God, teach me freedom in obedience and in Your Love.

Only God of Peace-only God alive!

In the name of Christ Jesus,

Amen
