Where We Live

Acts 17:28 ►"For in him we live and move and have our being."

In Christ, that is, those who trust Christ and are born of His Spirit-we live in God's kingdom of grace. Our souls are protected completely by God's word and nothing can pull us from His hand(John 10:28).

James 3:15 says this about the world's wisdom: "This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic."

The world outside of God's kingdom does not even fight what James calls a 'spiritual' battle. It is demonic-earthly-not from 'above'. The power of the enemy is not divine in any sense.

The power that holds us is the very power that raised Christ from the dead and empowers every follower of Christ who takes up their crosses daily(Luke 9:23).

We need to know that as we live and move and have our being in Christ and that the world has no hold on us unless we step out from under God's hand and allow it. If we step into sin and ignore the prompting of the Holy Spirit and do not acknowledge our sin before God-if we do not confess, we are being earthly and unspiritual-demonic.

Some will say this is just too radical sounding-too 'Bible beating'. Call it what you will-it is straight out of James 3 in the God breathed word.

We are to live divinely spiritual lives-to walk in the Spirit.

Galatians 5:16 ►"So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh."

I can and do make mistakes, so, read it for yourself. Ask God. Know what God says about the world we live in. This is not our home.

We live in a world of 'Artificial Intelligence' and no matter how advanced it becomes-and it is advancing far beyond what most of us comprehend-it will never be anything but artificial-earthly-unspiritual.

Know what God says.

Father in Heaven,

You are all real wisdom. Your kingdom is my home. Give me what I need today and Your wisdom to use it. Forgive me for letting my guard down and walking away from You. Lead me away from trusting this demonic world.
