Where Are You?

Good morning, Lord

Verse of the Day:  Genesis 3: 9 But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?”

Memory verse: Philippians 4:8 ►Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Where Are You?

It is so very busy with so much more to do. Everyday life seems to have become a rumble of an undercurrent in the midst of the Christmas activities.


I want us to stop for a minute and meditate on a single moment thousands of years ago in the perfect place God had made and placed the first man and woman.

Eve listened to the liar and did what the liar said instead of what God said and Adam, who did not say a word, did exactly what she did-the wrong thing.

Boom! Their minds were 'opened' to the wisdom of the world-their first realization,"We're naked!". Genius....

God came walking in the breeze and was not greeted by His children as usual and called out to Adam, "Where are you?"


God knew what had happened. So, why did He call?


I believe all that God has ever wanted from us is truth. He wanted Adam to speak the truth and what did Adam say..."She did it..."

While we are all running around in our fancy fig leaves doing whatever we're doing above the everyday rumble, answer God's question, "Where are you?"


 Tell the truth. Where is your heart? Where are your emotions? What's going on in your soul right now?

Tell God the truth and get right.


...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven,

I confess...my heart and soul is not where it should be because I am the center of my attention. Restore my soul, oh, mighty God.

Patient and loving God,

In the name Of Christ Jesus,
