Too Deep For Words

Good morning, Lord

Verse of the Day:   “For the Lord will go ahead of you; yes, the God of Israel will protect you from behind.” – Isaiah 52:12

Memory verse: Romans 8:32 ►He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

Today's reading: GENESIS 46-48 MATTHEW 13:1-30

Too Deep For Words

We have all heard Romans 8:28. Just go look at it and you will recognize it. Just before that is one passage we should take great strength and comfort from.

Romans 8:25-27

…25But if we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it patiently. 26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words. 27And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.…

The enemy works year round, not just in the dead of winter, so we look today at how God works in our lives when things get the worst-or at least when we feel things cannot get worse.

Paul tells us if 'we hope for what we cannot see', we wait patiently. This means that if we believe God for what we cannot see-we wait patiently.

Now, what if it is hard to believe God for something that really needs to happen for someone?

Romans 8:26- In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words.

When we do not know the words to say to God, the Holy Spirit does it for us.

But what if our faith-our belief is so weak we simply cannot see to believe...

27 And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.…

God knows our weak faith-our hearts-The Holy Spirit always prays for us according to God's will-God's plan.

You/we-God has a plan for us and He will see it though. Our part is to continue to return to God and be patient.

And, yes, it seems impossible at times to wait. We all want whatever is wrong to be right-right now. God is right all the time-so wait on Him. He will make the impossible happen in His time for His glory and good pleasure.

Meditate on God's heart-Quietly wait.

...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven,

Gentle God, I hurt. Forgive my impatience. I will wait for Your restoration of my heart.

Faithful God of self-control,

In the name of Christ Jesus,

Amen
