Time Spent
Time is money.(author unknown)

These are just a few of the worldly thoughts on time.
The Bible says this:
2 Corinthians 6:2 For he says, "In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you."Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
Romans 13:11 And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.
I read it again today: There is no more important time than that you spend everyday with God.
Our encouragement to you is to always set aside a time each day, preferably at the start, to spend time in Bible reading, study, and prayer. But never get the idea that we do this 'quiet time' and then get up and walk away from God.
God never walks away from us. He is more present than a shadow for when there is no light, there is no shadow but there is no time where there is no God. There is no time without God. There may be much of our time spent without thinking of God but God always thinks of us.
There is no time-not one single heartbeat in which you are not on God's mind. Yes, He is that big and all knowing and always present. He is much bigger than to have each of us on His mind all the time-much bigger.
So here we are. Right in the middle of God's thoughts all the time. We are covered and filled with His love and mercy each second of our lives.
It is not God's intention for us to carry guilt for time wasted. It is His intention for us to walk in freedom from guilt, completely free, all the time. How do I know that?
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Galatians 5:1-For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
Time is in God. God is not in time. God is not guilt. God is love. God is forgiveness. God is mercy. God is all for us.
Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Time on earth runs out. God never runs out of time. How much of our day today will be spent in conscious thought of God who never stops thinking of us?
Practice God consciousness.

Father in Heaven,
Forgive me for walking away thoughtless of You. Keep my mind centered on You all the time.
Mighty God of all eternal Love!
