Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Memory of the Month: Psalm 33:4

he is faithful in all he does.

Both Lord and Christ
Here is a list of scriptures for you to keep or study- to consider about the Lord Jesus Christ. With the accusations of the enemy, it is so important that we know what the scripture says about Christ and what Christ says about Himself:
Isaiah 9:6>For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
Matthew 1:16>and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
Matthew 1:21>She will give birth to a son, and you shall give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins."
Matthew 16:16>Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
Matthew 16:20>Then He admonished the disciples not to tell anyone that He was the Christ.
Luke 1:43>And why am I so honored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
(I wonder, how honored do we feel that the Lord Himself has chosen us-to come to us-all of us-individually?)
John 4:25>The woman said, "I know that Messiah (called Christ) is coming. When He comes, He will explain everything to us."
John 4:42>They said to the woman, "We now believe not only because of your words; we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man truly is the Savior of the world."
John 11:27>"Yes, Lord," she answered, "I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world."
Acts 2:36>Therefore let all Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ!"
Pick out all the different names as you go back and read. How many? What does each mean?(both Lord and Christ; Son of God; Savior of the world; Messiah; The Christ; My Lord; Wonderful counselor; prince of Peace; Mighty God; Eternal Father)
Look it up if you do not know exactly what something means-no one is looking but God and He wants you to know as much as you can absorb.
Hunger for it-search the Word of God-dig-love it!
...because He loves us...
Father in Heaven,
Teach me to listen and look and absorb and desire...I want as much as I can hold at one time of Your heart and mind!
