The Heart

Good morning, Lord

Verse of the Day: Luke 1:76-78

“And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Highest; For you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways, To give knowledge of salvation to His people By the remission of their sins, Through the tender mercy of our God, With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;

Memory of the Month: Psalm 33:4

4 For the word of the Lord is right and true;

he is faithful in all he does.

Today's reading: JONAH 1-4 REVELATION 10

The Heart

Jeremiah 17:9"The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it?

10"I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give to each man according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds.

We all have to answer the question, "What do we do with Jesus?"

Some will ignore this reality for a lifetime and there is no greater calamity.

Some will give lip service to the truth and never heart service to God.

There are some who will believe in their hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and live a life that openly confesses that Jesus is Lord.(Romans 10:9-10)

We, humans, have a way of reducing all things to 3 or 4 points-a recipe-a formula- and then demand agreement from all others...

But any heart reading this today must eventually face God with the truth.

What did I do with Jesus?

Have you yielded everything that you are to God?

No, You are not required to be perfect. You are just required to give Him all your imperfection-confess that you cannot save yourself-give it all to Him.

There are two kinds of hearts: the wicked heart that has not been redeemed---and the wicked heart that has been redeemed by Christ and is being perfected by Him.

2 Corinthians 5:17 ►English Standard Version

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

God loves us all the same. Jesus died for all.

2 Corinthians 5:15 ►English Standard Version

and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.

What have you done with Jesus? That question can only be answered by you to God's face---in truth. We are all responsible before God for the answer.

If you want Jesus as Lord, tell Him. He loves you regardless of any and all...

...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven,

Forgive me my fears. May Your light shine through me before men that they may ask me the reason for the hope in me.

Great God, full of grace and truth!!

In the name of Jesus,

Amen
