Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!
Memory of the Month:Proverbs 15:1-A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
Today's reading: ISAIAH 53-55 2 THESSALONIANS 1
It Will Never End
Isaiah 54:10 “The mountains may disappear,
and the hills may become dust,
but my faithful love will never leave you.
I will make peace with you,
and it will never end.”
The Lord who loves you said this.
'The Lord who loves you' says that His love will never leave us and it never will. No matter what our sin or how black we color our own world, God's love will never leave us. The Lord who loves us said this.
The Lord will make peace with us and that peace will never leave us. It is the peace that passes all understanding. It is the peace that no one can ever explain but will last forever.(Philippians 4:7) The Lord who loves us said this.
In the time it takes for the wind and the rain and heat and cold to wear the mountains and hills down to flatland, the peace of God will be like new.
Lamentations 3:22 The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
23 Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning.
The Lord who loves us said this.
God said this so that we would not just know but so we would be wise about salvation in Christ Jesus. His word is alive.
The Lord who loves us said this so that the people of God would be made complete and ready for every good work.
How do I know all this? 2 Timothy 3:15-17 says:
15From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.…
The Lord who loves us said all this and we could go on and on because it will never end...
...because He said so-the Lord who loves us...
Father in Heaven,
I am sorry I get weak because of bad focus and fear and doubt. Build my faith and help me set my face like flint. I want to say, like Job, "Though you slay me, I will trust You."
