Growing

Matthew 13:31 “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. 32 It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

In 2010, 31 percent of the world's population was identified as Christian. 70.6 percent of the population of the US identified themselves as Christian. It is forecast, however, that another religion will overtake Christianity in this, the 21st century.

How could that happen? Complacency and apathy.

Are you satisfied with your faith? Do you really follow the law God has written on your heart? Does it show in your life?

2 Corinthians 3:3 >You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

But it has always been there in the word of God-not in someone's list but in God's speaking to our hearts as we study His word and live out His love before the world.

We must be about living in truth-being truthful about ourselves to ourselves-and to almighty God.

The world turns and all of us grow older. We must be about His kingdom's work.

"You can't take it with you". This has been the statement we all have thrown forever.

But God has never been about 'it'.

It has never been about taking any 'thing' with us. It has been about 'whom' will go along with you.

Will there be someone in Heaven that is there because of God's working in your life?

All you have to do is let God work in and through you and trust Him for the results.

...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven,

Open my eyes to the lost around me and work through me. Forgive me for my disobedience and empower me to live Your love out before this world.
