Good morning, Lord
Verse of the Day: John 1:9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.
10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.
Memory verse: Philippians 4:8 ►Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
Today's reading: MICAH 4-5 REVELATION 12
Bring Truth Back
John 1:3 ►Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
John 1:10 says: "He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him."
How does that happen? How did the people in the world not know their righteous creator?
Sin and denial will do that. Denial comes in many ways but the world is full of it all the time.
The world at the time of Christ had gone so far off the track from God's plan that the people could not recognize the truth anymore.
Does that sound familiar?
In John, chapter 18, Jesus said, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”
38 “What is truth?”, Pilot asked.
Jesus came to bring truth back or to re-acquaint the world with truth-to shine His light in this darkness.
The enemy works endlessly to keep the world in his darkness. One of the reasons that this Christmas season of ours has become so commercialized is to cover up the truth-to put a barrier between us and God's light-to take attention from the real reason for the birth of Christ-and it works.
The world still does not recognize Him. The people in the world are around believers all the time. So, why can they not see the light in us? No, some never will but we must look inward to see why our light is not shining as it should.
Jesus is our only way, truth and life. Nothing else works. Bring truth back into your life. Listen to the Holy Spirit's quiet voice urging you to the truth-urging you to walk as Jesus walked. Let your light...
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Father in Heaven,
I confess my darkness-my denial of the truth. I will listen as You teach me to obey.
Patient God of all mercy and grace,
