Behold Him

Good morning, Lord

Verse of the Day:  John 14:19  In a little while, the world will no longer behold Me, but you will behold Me. Because I live, you also will live!

Memory verse: Philippians 4:8 ►Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Today's reading: AMOS 7-9 REVELATION 8

Behold Him

Christ came and, indeed, stayed. The coming of Christ is always present tense. Yes, there was His death, burial, and resurrection, hallelujah, but He gave us the Holy Spirit to live in us.

John 14:16-26

16 I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper so He may be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him. You know Him, because He abides with you and will be in you. 18 I will not abandon you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 In a little while, the world will no longer behold Me, but you will behold Me. Because I live, you also will live!

1 Corinthians 6:19

19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.

Jesus came-He lives-because He lives, we live.

Continuous, ongoing, eternal, neverending-current-always present.

John 7:37-39

37 On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive,

Jesus lives in us and is a continuous river of living water. Celebrate Christmas time, yes, celebrate the Holy Spirit right there with you-with us-celebrate the sound of His rushing river of life flowing from you

All praise is due our Lord God almighty-Maker of Heaven and earth-savior of our souls-the very current of our lives.

Thank You, Lord!!

Father in Heaven,

I fall so short of realizing all that you are in my life. I seek to know as much as I can in this life.

Great giver of the river of Life!
