Good morning, Lord

Verse of the Day:   “Do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.” (Matthew 6:31–32)

Memory verse: Romans 8:32 ►He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

Today's reading: EXODUS 19-20 MATTHEW 18:21-35

Ask, Take, Enjoy!

Our verse for today, Matthew 6:31&32 speaks of what we need and then says that God knows we need them all. Our memory verse:

Romans 8:32 ►He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

Paul seems to feel an urgency in God's desire to give us all things.

God gave His Son, Christ Jesus, for us. God gave His only son to bring us to a place where we can be with Him again. God loves to 'walk in the garden' with us. The only way that could happen was to have His perfect son die to take away all our sin-to wash away all our filth-to make us perfectly right-to give us His righteousness-so we could be perfect with Him in Christ.

Because He gave His perfectly loved Son for us, how could He not give us all things. God's desire to make us righteous in Christ is just above His desire to give us all things.

God must feel great excitement, as a loving Father to us-now that the hardest part of giving His son is over-to give us graciously all we need. His storehouses are endless.

Endless supplies of love, joy, peace, relief...He stands ready saying,"Here, here-take grow, live, thrive and learn what My joy of giving and loving deeply means-I want all my children to know My Joy!"

John 15:11 ►I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven,

Let me hear and feel Your joy in giving me all I need. Forgive me34 for not paying attention to Your excitement.

Fully loving Father,

In the name of Christ Jesus,

Amen
