All In All

Wednesday, ‎September ‎28, ‎2022 Good morning, Lord Verse of the Day: Psalm 38:18 18 I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin. Memory verse: Romans 12:1: Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Today's reading: ISAIAH 5-6 EPHESIANS 1 All In All Isaiah 6:6 In the year that King Uzziah died,I saw the Lord sitting on a very high and wonderful throne. His long robe filled the Temple. 2 Seraph angels stood around him. Each angel had six wings. They used two wings to cover their faces, two wings to cover their bodies, and two wings to fly. 3 The angels were calling to each other, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord All-Powerful. His Glory fills the whole earth.” 4 The sound was so loud that it caused the frame around the door to shake, and the Temple was filled with smoke. Ephesians 1:22 And God put everything under His feet and made Him head over everything for the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Isaiah saw it. He saw the great vision of God's filling the temple and then said, "His glory fills all the earth". Paul knew it. Paul knew the reality of what Isaiah saw in a vision. In Christ Jesus we are the church(Temple) where the Holy Spirit of God dwells. 1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; We are His-we do not own ourselves-Christ paid for us. He fills His body-us-the church. But when we say 'He fills His body', what does that mean? It means what it says. It is without question. God wants us to live this, consciously. God is love. 1 John 4:8 Love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8 God's love covers everything else, too-God saves us, sustains us, grooms and grows us; God provides all-all the time-for all who pay attention. What? It is all there if we can see it. All that we need is here if we are listening. God is loving even when we aren't listening, of course. But we lose sense of Him when sin clouds our lives. Do you sense God now? If not, you have knee-work to do. He fills all in all. We (who are born of the Spirit) are all filled with Him. He makes everything complete in every way. We must be alert in the Spirit-conscious of Him with every heartbeat... ...because He loves us... Father in Heaven, Forgive my dull attention. Keep my mind alert and listening always to You so I may grow and walk with You. Let my heart praise You, always. Great, filling, mighty God!! In Christ Jesus' name, Amen
