Air Above The Ground

Ephesians 2:1

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.

Before Christ-all people follow the ways of the world and the ways of the ruler(the enemy) of the kingdom of the air. All air-the air we breathe-the air above the ground is the kingdom of the enemy. It says it right there in Holy Scripture.

I have always had a bad feeling in my discernment about things I read on the internet. So, as an old man, I have to say that the devil is digital. I asked a prominent pastor about a certain website that a lot of good people followed. He said he had met the man who started it and it was good. Then I asked him about the really questionable stuff I had seen on that website and he said,

"They print things that are not true to throw off the left..."(Since then, that pastor has ceased to endorse this website)

In school, if part of a test question was false, it was all false.

Why do we fall for things that simply float around in the air? Why do so many people spend so much time reading useless information?

For the saved in Christ, the main thing is Jesus-the main thing is the main thing-knowing Him and making Him known.

Kingdom matters will make a difference in a thousand years in eternity-nothing else. So, the next time you are reading on the web some bit of 'good information', ask yourself, "Is this going to make a difference in a thousand years in eternity?"

If not, do you really need to know whatever it is? Does it really matter?

The air above the ground was polluted long before the industrial age-long before the devil created the digital.

The Holy Spirit gives us discernment-use it.

Jesus said, "Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment."John 7:24

...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven,

I ask for wisdom for Your divine discernment-right judgement. Forgive me for not trying all things by theSpirit,

All wise and knowing God,
