Meekness Of Wisdom

Wednesday, ‎September ‎16, ‎2020 Good morning, Lord V.O.D.: But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.—Matthew 6:6 M.O.M.: The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.—Romans 13:12 Today's reading: Proverbs 27-29 2 Corinthians 10

Meekness of Wisdom

2 Corinthians 9:15 Now thanks be to God for His indescribable gift [which is precious beyond words]!

Paul speaks of God's Grace to all of us. God's grace to us all cannot be measured. It has been showered on us all without restraint. We have all received grace-it cannot be quantified. It cannot be measured so one can say, "I have more grace...".

Why is it so much more apparent in some than others? Think about that question. The only way we can answer that is to look inward.

Some feel inferior when they listen to a good teacher or speaker. People envy those who appear to have a great grasp of God's wisdom. There is nothing wrong with that if it encourages us to dig more deeply into God's wisdom.

We must remember that this is all about God. It is not about who appears the greatest or is known for their spiritual stature. It is about our individual relationship with a loving God who wants us to be with Him.

The greatest Christian figures of any time are those who want others to have a greater walk with God than their own.

The most loving of parents always want 'better' for their children. The heart of God wants each day of our lives to be better than the one before.

The truth is that most of us will never be well known authors or teachers but we all have been blessed by God's tender mercies and endless grace. We all have equal access to God's heart of Love-the same access as any and all.

God has simply called some to be great teachers and leaders but the rest of us are just as important in His heart. The Blood of Christ was shed equally for all.

The Amplified Bible says this, "because of the surpassing measure of God’s grace [His undeserved favor, mercy, and blessing which is revealed] in you. 2 Corinthians 9:14

God's grace is revealed in you. How do we honor this reality? We must live our lives honoring God, fearing God, loving God, following and obeying God.

Together with God-you and God-grace revealed. James 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.

...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven, I am so unworthy yet You say I am worthy in Christ to be called Your Child. Fill me with awe as You reveal Your grace to me and in me. Thank you, Lord God, for loving me as much as anyone else in the world. Amazing and loving God and Lord of all! In Christ Jesus our Lord, Amen
