The Unseen

Tuesday, September 1, ‎2020 Good morning, Lord V.O.D.: Psalm 95:6-7 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice: M.O.M.: Psalm 27:13 I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Today's reading: Psalm 137-139 1 Corinthians 13

The Unseen

I want to say thank you today to those who are the quiet-the unseen-the ones of you who have a humble heart and a great faith. You know who you are. You don't put yourself out there to be the leader because God has not led you there. You are not the comfortable speaker or the best known scholar. You are the indispensible members of the body of Christ.

You, who spend time regularly in the presence of our God and take all of us in need with you there. You pray for us to have strength and wisdom and health and healing.

The body of Christ would not be a body without you and you need to know that we know you are there. Paul wrote about you. 1 Corinthians 12:22 No, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are actually very important. 23 And the parts that we think are not worth very much are the parts we give the most care to. And we give special care to the parts of the body that we don’t want to show. 24 The more beautiful parts don’t need this special care. But God put the body together and gave more honor to the parts that need it. 25 God did this so that our body would not be divided. God wanted the different parts to care the same for each other.

All of us need each other's prayers. Some of the rest of us get too big for our breeches and fall to pride and need prayer to get back in front of God and get right. This is of great import and you, the unseen, must know how important you, your love, and your prayers really are in moving the hands of God on our behalf.

We give praise to God for all of you who love us and pray for us. We may not know you but we know the power and love that comes from your prayers and help. Thank you for allowing God to work through you. We must all know that we are one in the body of Christ and function as one by His grace and mercy.

Thank God for all you 'unseen' warriors. We may not see you but God knows and sees and hears you-absolutely.

Thank you.

...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven, Forgive me when I forget to pray for the unseen prayer warriors and helpers of Your body. Help me to be thankful for them all. You have placed us together so wisely. Wise and wonderful Father! In the name of Christ Jesus, Amen
