All Things

Monday, ‎May ‎4, ‎2020 Good morning, Lord V.O.D.: 2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. M.O.M.: And they said to one another, "Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?" —Luke 24:32 Today's reading: 1 Kings 19-20 Luke 23:1-25

All Things

It is hard to imagine God's hand molding man from clay. That is where our faith comes in. God made man and woman-that is simply and profoundly just what happened.

But by Him all things were made-all things.

Today, be thankful that the God who made all things made all things for us-the objects of all His love.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes on Him will never die, but have everlasting life.

The lost and the spiritually blind laugh at all this and it makes some of us angry to be laughed at.

Please understand the sin that can arise from being offended by allowing yourself the luxury of being offended at someone laughing at your faith.

One bad word or move arising from hurt ego can close the ears of someone who might have listened.

So, when you hear bad words about your faith or the Kingdom, take the thought captive and relax. They did worse to Jesus and He took it all-to the cross.

Summon within you the Holy Spirit of God and let Him love through you and speak only what He gives you to speak. Focus on the lost and dying soul before you and know you might be their last chance to hear about God's provision for them.

John 1:9 says He gives light to all men. We cannot abide the thought of blocking that light just because we got our feelings hurt-can we? That is so much foolishness...

Matthew 5:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

...because He loves us...

Our Father in heaven,

Forgive me for wearing my feelings on my sleeve. May I become less and less and You become more and more as You open my eyes to the real condition of the lost loved ones around me.

Great God of love and salvation.

In the name of Christ Jesus,

Amen
