It Comes In The Morning

Good morning, Lord

Verse of the Day: Psalm 30: 5 For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

Memory verse: Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Today's reading: JOB 20-21 ACTS 10:24-48

It Comes in The Morning

The morning paper has ceased to come in the morning. My mother once made a great breakfast everyday of my life at home with her. The sounds of the livestock-the bleating sheep, the lowing cattle, the snorting horses-the chicken cackling and ducks quacking-all the sounds of my young life have ceased. But I remember that inner quiet. It was a certainty of something unknown at that time but it was always there.

I know that some did not experience this sensation but, it was there; something-a feeling of love or peace that you could not explain?

What I am getting at is that we, all being created in the image of God and chosen by Him, have something deep inside us that, at one time, we could not explain. It is a deep current that runs in our lives. Some of us may never have sensed it.

It is God's reality-His truth and love and power and peace that beckoned us to desire it. I think it is that feeling for many that there is something unknown- a feeling of another reality-that feeling that there is something more-another life, or success-like I said, we could not explain it.

Many have tried as they have written about parallel universes where we live other lives. Our race has been consumed by the possiblities of something more.

It has happened everyday. I believe that it is a sense of God. He created us so our instinct, I believe, a desire for his divine reality, is a driving force.

For the members of the body of Christ, we know Him-God has revealed Himself to us. For most of the world, however, this 'divine sense' has been used by the enemy to create the madness in whatever form where people claim it as their own genius or at least their own claim to being right.

Psalm 30: 5 For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

I believe that God's reality is that all of us must discover His promise of a fresh start-everyday and live out that promise. To feel God's knowledge that His joy is fresh everyday and I also believe that this means that everytime we confess and every time we take a bad thought captive-every step can be a 'joy of the morning' moment.

Some are thinking that I should come down out of the clouds and put my feet on the ground and admit that this is only wishful thinking.

No apologies-I will not. The Bible says it and I believe it. Joy comes after pain if we are living obediently in the Holy Spirit.

Could we have become so used to pain and trial that we rejoice in trouble and glory in our own pain? Some do, yes. Some take pride in how many stories of trouble they have and theirs is always harder than the next person.

This is the enemy's madness. It is what he does. He cannot change the fact we are created in God's own image but he can attack until he has warped us into his foul minions.

God breathed the word that reads:

"Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning."

This is His word for us-His reality for our hearts. His mission for us is to live this reality before a warped, degenerate world as we look past their sin and love them with His heart and tell them what that 'feeling' is. They must hear from us and the Holy Spirit speaking through us that what they erroneously believe is not the truth.

If we truly love what God has done and is doing in our lives, it will show to the lost around us. They will see the Lord's joy being perfected in us and the Holy Spirit creates in them the desire to know the truth of it all. If we do not love what God is doing in us, it is because we have not and are not seeking Him as He has told us.

You know that feeling inside you. It is God loving you into His direction. Pray for the heartfelt desire to commit and follow through with a daily seeking of God's kingdom and His righteousness.

Yes, pray, pray, pray...

...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven,

I am guilty of not moving toward you. Have mercy on me and forgive, oh God. I submit-light me up with Your desire to see me change and love what You are doing in me.

Teacher of teachers, my God,

In the name of Christ Jesus,

Amen
