Between The Wells
Monday, March 17, 2025
Good morning, Lord
Father in Heaven, I seek You first-the knowledge of Your limitless love in Christ. Build my trust and my passion. I take up my cross and follow...In Jesus' name…
Memory verse: Ephesians 2:6 “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.”
Verse of the Day: Psalm 23:
1The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.3 He restores my soul.He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Daily Reading: Deuteronomy 30-31 Mark 15:1-25
Between The Wells
Isaiah 12:3–4 (ESV)
3 With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. 4 And you will say in that day:
“Give thanks to the Lord,
call upon his name...”
make known his deeds among the peoples,
proclaim that his name is exalted.
When we honor God and follow Him, we will, obviously, fall to sin-repent and get right with God time and again. We will go through trials and hard times. But every time we return to God He brings us to yet another well of salvation. (Again, there is only one Jesus through whom we are saved, Acts 4:12.) But His river runs through us all the time, John 7:38.
We run back to God and He reveals another place for us to drink-wherever we are in our lives, God always has a place for us to drink but it is always from His righteousness and His living water.
God is always ready to show you another place to drink-no matter how badly you have failed or fallen-no matter the challenge. Nothing can keep us from the wells of salvation. The wells are in Christ-wells of forgiveness and restoration-strength and encouragement-peace and rest.
The space between the wells depends on us and our honesty-how much do we need God?
Confess your need-it is constant. Drink often.
God will do it.
...because He loves us…
Father in heaven,
You are my complete source for life. Forgive me for my self reliance. Give me the sense to keep my focus on You. Forgive me for my selfishness. Lead me away from lying to myself.
Great and honorable God,
In the name of Christ Jesus,
Amen
