Your Attention

If you feel you cannot pray or if if you have gotten out of the habit or you are in sin-if you feel the need to pray, it is the Holy Spirit telling you that He wants your attention-He wants to hear from you. God’s love has not changed for you. If you are in sin, tell God-admit it to Him.

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Isaiah 1:18

18 “Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.”

Jeremiah 15:19 says, Therefore thus says the Lord: “If you return, I will restore you, and you shall stand before me. If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless, you shall be as my mouth. They shall turn to you, but you shall not turn to them.”

Stop what you are doing and be quiet and humble yourself in front of God. He does not change-no, He does not like your sin-He hates it-but His unending love for you has not changed.

My children are grown and really busy, so, when I get a chance to talk to them, it lifts my heart-and I am chief of sinners. God is God-when He hears from us His joy is over the top and our cups run over.

We hallow His name by confessing-we give Him glory and His grace overflows and we are, again, right with Him.

1 Peter 5:6&7

6 “So be humble under God’s powerful hand. Then he will lift you up when the right time comes. 7 Give all your worries to him, because he cares for you.”

...because He loves you, He will do it…

Father in Heaven,

I want to hallow Your name as I should. Show me Your kingdom as I strive to obey You. Give me today what you know I need. Forgive me for ignoring prayer-ignoring You. Deliver me from evil.
