Good morning, Lord

Father in Heaven, I seek You first-the knowledge of Your limitless love in Christ and endless power. Build my trust and my passion. I take up my cross and follow...In Jesus' name…

Memory verse: Ephesians 2:6 “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.”

Verse of the day: 1 Corinthians 15:1

15 Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand,

Daily Reading: 1 Samuel 22-24

Work Through It

Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.” (Psalm 126:5–6)

There is a lot of pain in this life that we must get through. There is no profit in life if we sit still and cry. As I say this, I know there are many who need help from folks who have been through hard times and have come through it all with greater strength-but while we hurt, we must ask for help-we must know that God will provide. This is part of our hope in Christ. So. If you need help, keep searching in prayer and in God’s word and God will put you in the right place with the right people.

This is the God-conscious mindset. In grief or physical pain or in money troubles or family strife, Psalm 125:5&6 tells us that we must move-we must continue to do the task before us. This means that our minds must be made up to finish what we start even if the world tells us that the struggle is not worth it.

God says that we ‘bear the seed for sowing’-He has and is giving us what is needed.

The mindset of hope-knowing that God will bless our labors and knowing that God promises a harvest of ‘shouts of joy’ along with the harvest of our work.

Keep in mind that this ‘work’ can be spiritual or physical and will be both. Expect God to continue ’finishing’ His work in you as you finish your work.

The strength to keep working in pain, for the believer, comes only in The Holy Spirit.

Trust and move-hope and move-tears and all else…

...because He loves us…God will do it...

Father in Heaven,

Your name is my strength. Your kingdom is my hope. Give me a vision to keep moving and working no matter how I feel. Forgive me for letting my pain stop me. Lead me away from wanting to give up.

Great Father of all harvest in my soul,

In the name of Christ Jesus the Lord,

Amen
