Jesus said, "So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness."(Matthew 23:28)
There is a saying from years ago, "Don't let the clothes fool you, I got the cash."
So what does outward appearance mean in this world?
It means we either fit or we don't-to the world, this is what it means.
While we all know that the clothes really don't make the person, we still make judgements based on appearance.
Know this: God will never judge any person based on what we look like outwardly. He sees our hearts, always...
If you wore your heart for clothing, what would you look like? How would you appear before the world?
Well, that's how we all appear before God all the time. That is why the scripture tells us to 'put on Jesus'.
Romans 13:14 ►Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.
Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Moses came down from the mountain with the tablets of the Law and saw the people worshipping the golden calf and smashed the tablets-the very tablets God had written-
God did not strike Moses down. He told Moses, 'get more tablets, let's get back on the mountain, and I'll do it all over'.
No matter how big a mess you have made of your life-no matter how many pieces your heart may be broken into-God says, "Let's get back on My mountain and I will fix you".
Get in front of God and tell Him the whole story. He knows it all, He just wants you to spill it out like a jig-saw puzzle so you can see Him put it all together the way He wants it-not by the world's 'perception mill', but by His pattern for you.
Go see God-He is waiting...
...because He loves us...

Forgive me for wearing anything but Jesus before the world. Make my heart Yours and Yours, alone.
