Good morning, Lord

Verse of the Day:  Malachi 3:3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the LORD will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness,

Memory verse: Philippians 4:8 ►Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Today's reading: OBADIAH 1 REVELATION 9



Why Did Christ Come?

Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.


God sent His son, Jesus the Christ, so that Christ could die to take away our sins so that we could be with Him in His righteousness. God loves ultimately so He wants our joy to be full in Him.


I wonder how many of us are seeking God and His kingdom and really know His joy fully in our lives?


If we know the real joy of the Lord, then it is certainly a season for celebration. But if your life is not in full joy, Jesus came so you would know full joy. God has done His part.


Our part is to live humbly before Him and love Him with all we are.


Confess whatever it is that keeps you from being full of the Holy Spirit and His power. You know what it is.

This is why Paul wrote this:

Galatians 5:1 ►It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.


You are more important to God than any sin. Jesus came to free us from our sin.

Our part is to love Him and in doing so, our joy will be full.


...because He Loves us...

Father in Heaven,

My sin keeps a distance between me and You. Forgive me.
