Good morning, Lord

Father in Heaven, I seek You first-the knowledge of Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Fill my consciousness constantly and complete Your joy in me as I take up my cross and follow...In Jesus' name…

33 “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!”

Wake From Sleep

Romans 13:11

“Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.”

Ephesians 5:14

“Therefore it says, “Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

In both of these verses, Paul tells believers to wake up-rise from the dead. Both places are instructions on righteous living to the believers in Christ.

Wake up-this is what God says to us all. Don’t just wake up and crawl out of bed. Stand on the Lord-not the floor. Throw some living water on your face. Brush out the sin. Look at the day through the Word-Living and written. Talk to the Boss of the yard and go to work.

Wake up-snap out of it-focus.

I heard a woman say one time, “I come to myself and realized…”

We must come to the Lord and realize our total dependence on Him when we start each day and keep that focus by the power of the Holy Spirit.

This is living the abundant life. All else is sleeping our lives away.

Don’t sleep-

Live…

...because He loves us…He will get you up…

Father in Heaven,

Your name be hallowed and Your kingdom come. I depend on You for everything. Keep me awake.
