The Riches Of His Grace

Monday, ‎October ‎17, ‎2022 Good Morning, Lord Verse of the Day: Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Memory verse: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). Today's reading: ISAIAH 50-52 1 THESSALONIANS 5 The Riches Of His Grace Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. God loves us enough to give His only Son to die for us. Because of that love, we, who know Christ Jesus, have been redeemed by the blood of Christ and have been forgiven for all our sins and have access to God's power to lift all guilt and let us experience His freedom-freedom not as the world defines it but the life in His weightless righteousness. God declares us pure and declares us His own because of His endless love for us. This takes a lifetime to realize-just how much God actually loves us. The more we realize this vast truth, the more 'zeal' we have for Him. Titus 2:14 He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. To realize this zeal, we must seek His kingdom and His righteousness(Matthew 6:33) with daily zeal and fervor to realize His purity we are called to. 1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness. God has called us to pure Holiness. Now, before any of you turn this off this morning, we have to know that God knows how weak we can be and how some of us will view 'pure holiness'. But--we can know divine purity in our lives. Many call this sanctification and what that big word means is our seeking God and being purified by Him a step at a time. This means we must look in the mirror, deep into our own eyes, and compare our lives to God's purity we experience in Holy scripture. How? God's word and Prayer: 1 Timothy 4:4 For every creation of God is good, and nothing that is received with thanksgiving should be rejected, 5because it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 6 By pointing out these things to the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, Meditation: Psalm 1:2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. The learning of self-control: (Galatians 5:22-23) By learning that we cannot be pure by grieving The Holy Spirit: Ephesians 4:30 ►And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. How can we know how much God loves us without living a life of seeking Him and His righteousness? By being faithful. Matthew 24, Jesus asks: 45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant..." Everyday, we must ask ourselves this question of our Master. ...because He loves us... Father in Heaven, Oh God, forgive me for grieving You. Fill my heart with Your zeal to be found faithful. Constant and all-loving Father and God. In the name of Christ Jesus, Amen
