Good morning, Lord

Father in Heaven, I seek You first-the knowledge of Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Fill my consciousness constantly as I take up my cross and follow...In Jesus' name…

The Fame Of God

Psalm 23:3-”He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”

What does it mean, “...for His name’s sake?” How do we understand ‘God’s name’?

Take leap with me.

God’s ‘fame’.

I read that from another writer and something opened up that I had not felt before-the freedom to see God a little greater. God is so great and He wants us to see His greatness and spread what we see and know in how great and good He is.

God is love.(1 John 4:8)

I think of cheering crowds in giant stadiums-we can feel the effects through a TV broadcast. Remember Beetle-mania.

This not what God wants. He wants us to love Him with all we are-all the time-not just when gathering or times of trouble-but all the time.

When this happens, the world has a chance to see God’s glory in the cheering from our hearts that manifests itself in a warm and strong Body of Christ. A Body of (Micah 6:8) just living, merciful, humble servants who serve-both God in Christ and man in world. We serve ‘man in world’(man and woman) in God’s love and let them know the greatness of His love in us and His love offered to them in Christ.

We spread God’s fame in and about His love in Christ for the world…

How is that for you? My sin tarnishes God’s reputation, how about you? You know what you need to do?

Do it. If we do our part in honoring God with our lives, His name will be hallowed-and His fame spread-for His name’s sake.

...because He loves us...yes, because He loves us…

Father in Heaven,

Hallowed be thy name-and Your kingdom be shown and seen in us all-in me. Increase my desire to make Your name known. Forgive me for vain privacy. Lead me away from vanity.

God of greatest fame,
