Good morning, Lord


Verse of the Day:  Malachi 3:1  “I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the LORD Almighty.  


 Memory verse: Philippians 4:8 ►Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

The Desire


Malachi 3:1  “I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the LORD Almighty.  


John 1:17- For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.



Question: What is it you desire?


Next question: Whom do you desire?



This coming season should be the season where we celebrate and honor the coming of divine grace and truth.


John 1:17 says: "17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ."


Ephesians 4:7 " 7Now to each one of us grace has been given according to the measure of the gift of Christ."


Epesians 2:7-9…7 "...in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9not by works, so that no one can boast.…"



John 1:14


14 "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."



The real question is,"Do (we) you desire the message or the messenger?"


Jesus is our grace and our truth-He is the way, the truth,


and the life.(John 14)


There is no way to receive God's divine message without receiving Christ Jesus. The enemy has sent the world chasing counterfeits for the course of history.


This is the season for the birth of Jesus-the birth of real grace and truth-without Jesus, it is all just a list of do's and don'ts.


"traitorous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such as these!" 2 Timothy 3:5


Our faith is not based on a faithless form of godliness but on our faithful God in Christ Jesus.


Embrace the grace and the truth, the way and the life-embrace Christ Jesus...


...because He loves us...


Father in Heaven,

Forgive me for reaching for the 'truth' of the world. I want to desire Christ more than any words this world offers.

Great Father of all truth,
