The Coming Peace

Good morning, Lord
Father in Heaven, I seek You first-Your peace-Your knowledge and discernment. Build my trust. I take up my cross and follow...In Jesus' name...
Verse of the Day: Luke 2:8-11
8 And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. 10 And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Memory verse: Psalm 139:23–24 (ESV)
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! 24 And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!
Today's reading: Habakkuk 1-3 Revelation 15
The Coming Peace
2 Thessalonians 3:16 (ESV)16 "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all."
Christ Jesus said in John 18:37, "This is why I was born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth."
The most precious thing for me in my life is His divine peace.
He is our Prince of peace(Isaiah 9:6).
He is our God of Peace. Romans 15:33 (ESV)33 "May the God of peace be with you all. Amen."
Christ is Lord of peace. 2 Thessalonians 3:16
But what does that mean? Freedom from fear-fear of weakness-fear of failure-freedom from the effects of all that the enemy can throw at us. The peace of Christ is a soul, mind, and heart in perfect relief of all pressure.
And, yes, it is possible in this life. Finding this reality takes effort.
It takes our submission under God's hand(1 Peter 5:6&7). It calls for us to find that secret place(Matthew 6:4) before God. It starts there in God's presence and then goes with us when we realize that the Holy Spirit, along with all His divine peace and grace, is with us always.
In Him, we live and move and have our being-in Him we have our peace-perfect peace.
You can find it and live in it-so find it-believe it. This is the truth of Jesus. He came to set us free.
It is for freedom we have been set free(Galatians 5:1).
It is Christmas. Don't miss the peace and relief-the freedom that Jesus is. Live in His truth.
...because He loves us...
Father in Heaven,
Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done. Give me Your bread to embrace Your peace in Your presence. Forgive me my fear. Lead me away from laziness.
God of peace, Lord of peace, Prince of peace,
In the name of Christ Jesus,
Amen
