Good morning, Lord

Father in Heaven, I seek You first-the knowledge of Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Fill my consciousness constantly and complete Your joy in me as I take up my cross and follow...In Jesus' name…

Memory verse: Psalm 27:13-14 (NIV)

I remain confident of this, I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”

Verse of the day: Hebrews 12:28

28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,

Today’s reading: Ezekiel 27-29 1 Peter 3

Thankful For ‘The’ Blessing

Here at Thanksgiving I want to be thankful for our ladies-the women of our world. They gave birth to each one of us-even though they are the physically ‘weaker’ sex-(we have come to know that means virtually nothing) their strength is amazing.

God tells us through Peter in 1 Peter 3 to honor and respect them and implies if we don’t our prayers will be hindered.

All of us, women and men, have been given ‘the blessing’-(1 Peter 3:7)-’the grace that gives true life’.

Remember this during these holidays:

In verses 8-12 of 1 Peter 3 God says,

To enjoy life and have many happy days, we should:

Seek peace and work for it

Speak no evil and do good

Love and try to understand each other

Be humble and kind

Bless folks no matter what they say about you-let it go and bless them.

God tells us to enjoy each other-love each other in peace.

I pray the best for you all in all God’s righteousness during these holidays and that you really know ‘the blessing’ in God’s fullness.

Tell God this is what you want so you can shine His light for His glory.

...because He loves you, He will do it…

Father in Heaven,

Your name is above all. Your kingdom is perfect. Give me the desire I need today to live for You. Forgive me my selfishness. Lead me away from evil.

God of peace,

In the name of Christ Jesus,

Amen
