Sensible

‎Tuesday, ‎November ‎1, ‎2022

Good Morning, Lord

Verse of the Day: Ephesians 4:30-32 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Memory verse: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

Today's reading: JEREMIAH 24-26 TITUS 2

Sensible

Tutus, chapter 2, is about our being sensible and teaching folks to be sensible-leading them in self-control.

I went to vote and all was fine until they asked me if I wanted to vote on the school bond, which was a separate ballot-in this case, a machine because they were out of ballots. This machine had, no doubt, been designed by a veteran of 'webeetoys'-so colorful-rotary dial and buttons-past and future -all in one-so simple an election official had to stand over your shoulder for each move-all to vote yes or no.

That machine-in these times-made absolutely no sense!@#><...

People make things far too weird-while they are trying to appear above wrong, they just make it weird.

Playground, second grade notes: "Mark yes or no..."

When did it get so far out there? All of it-all this craziness....stop...be still...take it captive...get in front of God.

God never changes. Shadows move and change but God...James 1:17 ►Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. 9Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace.

Control yourself, live by scripture, the world will never make sense but God will always make sense.

...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven,

Forgive me my confusion and help me focus on Your infinite wisdom.

Great God of wisdom!

In Jesus name,

Amen
