Good morning, Lord

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 11: 3 and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;

Memory verse: Philippians 4:8 ►Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Today's reading: AMOS 4-6 REVELATION 7


Season Of The Heart


1 Samuel 16:7 ►But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height....The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”


Isaiah 11: 3 and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;


Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

Think not about what you will receive but consider what you have now been given and then on what is yours to give.


We have been given a new heart. The old stone heart that would always judge and hold grudges and could be hurt by the least little negative word and always thought of itself first...replaced by the heart only God can give. But the heart is not the only thing...


2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.


1 Corinthians 2:16 “Who has known the mind of the Lord

 so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.


All of us-heart by God-mind of Christ-so that we may not judge by what we hear or see but by what God knows to be fact-feelings that flow from humility and not pride.


Really...what else could we need? To give it all away. So what is the coming of Christ all about? He gives us a life of learning to give.


...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven,

Forgive me my self-centered-self absorbed ways. Lead and teach me to be centered on you always,

Great and Holy Father,
