Good morning, Lord

Father in Heaven, I seek You first-the knowledge of Your limitless love in Christ and endless power. Build my trust and my passion. I take up my cross and follow...In Jesus' name…

Memory verse: Ephesians 2:6 “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.”

Verse of the day: Romans 5:6-8

6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Protection Over Us

Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”

Here is another way to employ on the armor of God.

Psalm 5:11 says, “Let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you.”

Our joyful singing-rejoicing-’overshadows’(from the Hebrew translation) or protects us.

Do you want to ‘put on the armor’ of God? Rejoice in Him.

Now, just singing will not do it. ‘Acting out’ worship is not real. Our worship must come from a heart that is full of joy because we are being amazed by God’s steadfast love for us and His endless glory and the reality that in His steadfast love, God desires spiritual intimacy with us that will make us whole with all His divine feelings of freedom and peace and His power.

Discover who God is-find out for yourself. Pray-dig deeply-tell God you want to know Him intimately.

...because He loves us...He will do it…

Father in Heaven,

Show me how great Your name is and great Your kingdom is. I want to know as much as I can stand. Fill me with awe so praise is as natural as breathing. Forgive me for weak desire and commitment. Lead me away from doubt.

Great teacher and lover of my soul,
