Good morning, Lord

Father in Heaven, I seek You first-the knowledge of Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Fill my consciousness constantly and complete Your joy in me as I take up my cross and follow...In Jesus' name…

Memory verse: Jeremiah 15:19 ESV

Therefore thus says the Lord: “If you return, I will restore you, and you shall stand before me. If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless, you shall be as my mouth. They shall turn to you, but you shall not turn to them.”

Verse of the day: Proverbs 29:25

25 “The fear of man lays a snare,    but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.”

Jesus Is In Us

Do this in remembrance of me” is what Jesus said at the first Lord’s Supper in Luke 22:19.

Jesus said, ““I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you” (John 14:18).

These are words from our Lord that tell us that He is building His church, His body continually. Jesus is telling us that He will send the Holy Spirit and that the Holy Spirit will be His own presence among us.

I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you” (John 14:16–17).

Father, Son, And Holy Spirit are one. Jesus said to ‘do this remembering me’(Luke 22:19). The Lord’s supper is a Holy reminder to us that Jesus of not only what Jesus has done but what He is doing in us right now.

I am present and as alive as ever in your lives.-remember? I dwell in you and am with you”

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid” (John 14:27).

This is our(the church’s) assurance and our strength to go into all the world and spread His truth.

So why is it so hard to touch our own little part of the world? We don’t remember Jesus constantly. We are not conscious of the presence of Jesus all the time as He wants us to. That would mean that we would be alive with His power and patience in this world that is against His message-His love would be our sign and shield.

Behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matt. 28:20).

Remember Jesus-always. Tell God you want to be conscious of the Holy Spirit-of Him and Jesus always.

...because He loves us...He is always with us…

Father in Heaven,

May I remember to always hallow Your name and seek your kingdom and Your righteousness to do Your will. Give me today what You know I need to remember. Forgive me for letting my mind wander into sin. Lead me away from evil.

Always present God,

In the name of Christ Jesus,

Amen
