Good morning, Lord
Father in Heaven, I seek You first-the knowledge of Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Fill my consciousness constantly and complete Your joy in me as I take up my cross and follow...In Jesus' name…
Memory verse: Jeremiah 15:19 ESV
Therefore thus says the Lord: “If you return, I will restore you, and you shall stand before me. If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless, you shall be as my mouth. They shall turn to you, but you shall not turn to them.”
Verse of the day: Ephesians 3:17-19
17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Today’s Reading: 2 Chronicles 25-27 John 16
I Told You...
Jesus said, “I told you these things so that you can have peace in me. In this world you will have trouble. But be brave! I have defeated the world!”
Jesus said to be brave-with what? Romans 8:32 tells us He gives us all things so Christ Jesus has given us courage. We must dig down deep and find it under the baggage we tote around from the world.
It is in you because Jesus is in you.
Our memory verse, Jeremiah 15:19, says that they will come to us and for us not to go to them(meaning the world) because they have nothing we need.
When the people of the world see that we do not need what they have because of the peace and power in us over the world because of Jesus, the ones who don’t know they are chosen will come to us-
“They will come to you…” why? Because Jesus has what they need and they see we have it.
Now, do you show that peace and that certainty to the world?
Dig deep and find that courage that is yours from God in Christ Jesus.
Ask Him to show you.
...because He loves us...He will do it…
Father in Heaven,
Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come and Your will be done in my heart and mind.
Forgive me for hesitating. Lead me away from evil.
Father of all,
In the name of Christ Jesus,
Amen
