Good morning, Lord

Verse of the Day: Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

A Must

It is a must for the foundation for growth in Christ. It is a must for every believer to grasp this truth. What is it?

In Christ-if your are truly born of the Spirit of God:

Galatians 3-28 There is [now no distinction in regard to salvation] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you [who believe] are all one in Christ Jesus [no one can claim a spiritual superiority]. 29 And if you belong to Christ [if you are in Him], then you are Abraham’s descendants, and [spiritual] heirs according to [God’s] promise. Galatians 3

We must grasp this and teach it and pass it on. We must make sure that all believers understand this.

The children of Abraham were God's chosen and now, because of God's plan in Christ, we are descendants of Abraham along with them. We are numbered with all of God's chosen.

Any time we read of God's chosen in the Holy Scripture we read of ourselves.

Galatians 3

26 For you [who are born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified and] are all children of God [set apart for His purpose with full rights and privileges] through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union with the Christ, the Anointed] have clothed yourselves with Christ [that is, you have taken on His characteristics and values]. Galatians 3

None of this relieves us of the responsibility of making the choice of putting on Christ,(Romans 13:14), as well as the daily choice of putting on the whole armor of God,(Ephesians 6:11-18), or the choice of walking in Him(Colossians 2:6). We all have to seek the kingdom and grow closer to God each day but no one can take away the absolute facts of scripture. In Christ, we are His chosen people-His chosen children.

Father in Heaven,

Forgive me for not hearing what the Bible really says.

Impact my heart with the reality of this truth more and more and more. Let me know in my heart that I am really a child of Abraham and what that should deeply mean to me.

Thank You for choosing me and bringing me into Your kingdom. I want to want to give You all the Glory all the time.
