Choose To Be Free

God’s plan of salvation in Christ did all the things it was intended to do-all of what God said had to happen to reunite us with Him in righteousness.

One thing that still plagues most human beings-the one thing the serpent in the garden of Eden knew he could use against us for the ages-our own guilt.

Genesis 16:11 says,“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

“In Your presence”-Confessing of sin to God means more than forgiveness to me-When I confess, I am in His presence-I am conscious of my almighty God-my Lord-fullness of joy and pleasures forever more start with God’s shield against guilt.

If I do not live consciously of God, I am open to the enemy’s guilt-yes, God has forgiven me but without being conscious of God’ presence, I carry the weight of bad choices-guilt.

Maintaining consciousness of God is our shield-our freedom from old guilt.

The lies of the enemy continue-such as we cannot maintain constant consciousness of God. But, we can. It has to be learned as we seek God and Him alone.

1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”

1 John 1:5-7-5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

The Lord keeps us free from guilt when we choose to be free from self.

Talk to God about it. Tell Him your desires. He listens-always. So we must listen-always.

...not such a small detail.

...because He loves us...He will do it…

Father in Heaven,

Hallowed Be Your name. Your kingdom desire come in my heart. I want to be conscious of You all of today. Forgive me for walking away from You. Lead me away from guilt.
