Good morning, Lord


Verse of the Day:  John 1: 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—

13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

Memory verse: Philippians 4:8 ►Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Children Born of God


John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.


This is the truth of this entire season(and every other season for that matter):

"The word became flesh and made His dwelling among us."


The supreme gift from God is salvation in His Son, Christ Jesus-but-we must celebrate all the gifts that come with Christ Jesus of which there are many.


John 1:

16 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.(grace on top of grace)

17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8&9 says ..."For by grace we are saved through faith...it is a gift of God

Jesus was a  'child' born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God(from John 1:13) so that He could give us the right to become children of God(John 1:12) and be 'transformed into the image of Christ(Romans 8:29) so that Jesus could be the firstborn of many...(Romans 8:29).


This is our right-to become children of God in the image of Christ, full of grace and truth.


Thank You, Lord God-maker of Heaven and earth.


...because He loves us...


Father in Heaven,

I have fallen so short of living in Your grace and truth given in Christ Jesus. But, I am Your child so I ask for your wisdom to live in the Spirit as Jesus did.

Gracious God of tender mercies,

In the name of Christ Jesus, my Lord,
