Good morning, Lord

Father in Heaven, I seek You first-the knowledge of Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Fill my consciousness constantly and complete Your joy in me as I take up my cross and follow...In Jesus' name…

Memory verse: Joshua 1:9

9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Verses of the day- Ephesians 6:10-11

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

Today’s reading: Joshua 10-12 Luke 1:39-56

What Are ‘All Things’?

We are just around the corner from our celebration of the resurrection of Christ-Easter. God gave, for us, His son for our salvation and reconciliation with Him.

What more could God do for us?

Romans 8:32 (ESV)

32 “He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?”

What else could God give us? What are these “all things”?

In Romans 8:31-39, Paul tells us that God’s love ‘is’ everything

35 “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

When we come to fully realize that in God’s love is all we need, all the peace and relief and encouragement and fulfillment for this life, we will know God’s full freedom in Christ.

This is why we seek God with all we are(Matthew 6:33). If we do not, we live in search of what this world cannot provide.

Learn the truth. Seek the only truth that exist only in God. The world will always disappoint.

We cannot find the answers we need for life eternal if we only seek fulfillment in this life ‘temporal’.

Tell God your are tired of chasing promises of the world and want to know His truth of ‘all things’ in your heart.

...because He loves you, He will do it…

Father in Heaven,

Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come and Your will be done in my heart. Give me a greater understanding of all You give me for today. Forgive me for chasing after the world. Lead me away from evil desires.

Giver of all good things,

In the name of Christ Jesus,

Amen
