Good morning, Lord

Verse of the Day: 1 John 3:8 "...The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work."

Memory verse: Philippians 4:8 ►Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

A Small Child


 Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.


Christ Jesus-John 1

In the beginning, He was and is the living word of God without whom nothing was made.


Because His love for us is so complete, He could not let sin go without His ultimate fight and victory. So the small child came because of His desire for us to live in His righteousness.

1 John 3:7&8 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.


A small child came to govern our lives with peace as almighty God who is Lord of all...our counselor who never leaves us...our perfect counselor who never leaves us because His love for us endures forever.


A small child whose love for us is perfect; His presence is perfect; His counsel is perfect; His peace is complete.


A small child of complete love...complete.


...because He loves us...


Father in Heaven,

There is so much I need to understand and learn. Forgive me my laziness. Thank you for being my everything I need.
