Good morning, Lord

Father in Heaven, load me with desire to seek You first-the knowledge of Your kingdom and Your insight to righteousness. Hold my attention constantly and complete Your joy in me as I take up my cross and follow...In Jesus' name…

Memory verse: 1 John 1:8–9

8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the

truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all

unrighteousness.

Verse of the day-Psalm 18:30 “As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.”

Today’s reading: Job 36-37 Acts 15:22-41

The Righteous Day

We can be sure that everything that God made perfect is targeted by the enemy and the world to look better in sin. The world says,

Let’s do it this way because it ‘feels’ better.”

Science says that is not true.”

History tells us that does not work.”

You must hammer out your own happiness.”

Answers can be found in the greatest of the educated and most successful and if you search long and hard, you will find all you need.”

Jesus says, “Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him…Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:8,34

The world’s attraction, sin living in us, overwhelms us with things to worry about’—that might be true except for this fact: Nothing bothers us unless we allow it. Time spent not using God’s grace to live in His peace without worry is life wasted. In other words, ‘a life in worry is life wasted’.

I have seen people literally ‘worry themselves to death’ or worry all their lives until they die. This is most pitiful.

Jesus died to give us life most precious. Jesus says to not worry but to see the precious life He gives. See the perfect gifts given and learn to live in them-in Him. Work on releasing worry and grasping God’s peace in His grace this righteous day.

Ask Him how to turn worry into worship.

...because He loves us...He will do it…

Father in Heaven,

I must live hallowing Your name. Teach me how and how to seek Your kingdom and do Your will. Give me wisdom for today. Forgive me for worrying. Lead me away from allowing worry to block Your grace.

Father of every minute,

In the name of Jesus,

Amen
