A Noise Of Joy

Wednesday, October 30, 2024

Good morning, Lord

Father in Heaven, I seek You first-Your peace-Your knowledge and discernment. I take up my cross and follow...In Jesus' name...

Verse of the Day:  Romans 12:2 "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship."

Memory verse: Psalm 42:2(New American Bible )

"My soul thirsts for God, the living God. When can I enter and see the face of God?"

Today's reading: Jeremiah 22-23 Titus 1

A Noise of Joy

Psalm 100:1-"make a joyful noise to the Lord all the earth.

Psalm 40:3 He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.4 Blessed is the man who has made the LORD his trust, who has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood.…

If you have made the Lord Your trust...If you are walking with the Lord, your life is a song of praise to Him. It says it right there in Psalm 40. You have not kissed up to the world and you have lived in truth or you are attempting to live for Him and are seeking Him and growing in your love for Him. If you're living in humility under His hand and confessing your failures and continuing in faith, God hears your singing loud and clear.

Eyes on the prize: "But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly calling in Christ Jesus. 15 All of us who are mature should embrace this point of view. And if you think differently about some issue, God will reveal this to you as well.…". Philippians 3

Don't worry about what you do not know or cannot seem to figure out. If you are faithful to God in Christ, the Holy Spirit will reveal to you in time what you need to know.

Drop all the worry and live wide open the way God wants you to. Jesus came to give us abundant life and gives us all we need to realize what that means in our daily lives.

Some walk with Jesus. Some run. Some fly. It depends on how much you trust and are willing to let go of. How much of the world do you really cling to? Let go...and God will take you where you have never been...

There is always loving to do. Love as you should and there will be singing...

...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven,

My whole life has been trying to hang on to stuff. I confess it-Teach me the freedom of totally depending on You. Thank you for Your song.

Oh God, Merciful and mighty and loving,

In the name of Jesus,

Amen
