Good Morning, Lord

A Nation Of Frogs

This has been declared a national day of prayer to pray for our nation. So, what shall you pray? What is the greatest need?

I can only suggest what you pray. Ask God what our nation needs the most. I can tell you how I perceive the greatest need of our nation. Our greatest need is for all people to face the truth-they are eternally lost without God's son, Christ Jesus.

I believe that a spirit of deception has covered our nation. Our national bird is the eagle. But, are we not frogs? Frogs in a pot of water with a low fire below will boil and not realize it. The wickedness in our nation is the fire below and our people have been lulled to sleep in a false security this nation provides-false peace-false prosperity. No earthly peace or prosperity is everlasting.

So, I pray that our people will wake up to the fire beneath. They will awaken to a shock of the lost darkness they are in now and that awaits them. The Holy Spirit, the Divine Personal Presence of our Eternal God, will open the eyes of all individuals suddenly to the truth.

The scripture says they are blind.

1 John 2:11 But anyone who hates another brother or sister is still living and walking in darkness. Such a person does not know the way to go, having been blinded by the darkness.

If they are blind now, who can think they will have sight in the here-after? If God is the source of all love and peace, lost people will be blind with no peace and love and joy for eternity. This is a reality of God's truth that has always existed. It has been ignored by self-awareness and pride and the wicked need for control-the prince of the power of the air, Ephesians 2.

My prayer is that the lost and blind will awaken to a shock of reality. The Holy Spirit will break the back of the enemy's influence over our country's people and give them a clear view of the truth for the people who do not know Jesus. I pray the ones deceived by the spirit of deception will awaken to how horribly wrong it is to go against God's truth. I pray the Holy Spirit will shine righteousness on the lies and deception so all can see without a doubt that the answer is in Christ Jesus-the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-The Eternal-our God.

I pray that God's love fills every nook and cranny of every void in our country and that His love shines brighter than ten noon-day suns for all to see.

It starts at home. Pray that the love you show this day and all days after be the love of God's heart. Look past the sin to the soul Jesus loves and died for.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whosoever believes...(John 3:16)

Love the whosoever around you. This is my prayer for us all-we all love the way God loves us...

...because He loves us...

Father in Heaven,

Free my own heart from my self indulgence, oh God, and work through me. Deliver our nation with a shock of Your truth.

Awesome and complete God-the answer to all our problems,
