Today's reading: Jeremiah 51-52 Hebrews 9 M.O.M.: Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. V.O.D: Colossians 1:9 New King James Version For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Look Intently

The blind man said, "Young man, I can see by your words That you need some help". "You can't see anything; you told me you had been blind since birth", said the young man. "Oh, I have eyes, they are just not made like yours..."

How are our eyes 'made'? Think before you answer. This is not about the physical eye-not even the mental- but the spiritual.

It is with these eyes we see into God's word. James 1:25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. How do we look after folks who need help? James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

Have you not 'seen' the heavenly lights? James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

What will you 'see' today? Soul 'sight'-will your eyes see today?

Matthew 13: 16 But blessed are your eyes because they see,

Father, Allow my soul to see your word for what it really is-for what You have for me to see-the truth-always. Blessed be the Lord! In Jesus' name, Amen

...because He loves us...
